She is the color of donuts from a local grocery store I plan on making her a matching companion named Chocolate Frosting. She is able to stand on her own without wire or armature and can also sit (though somewhat incorrectly). Her rear end is decorated with felt heart & iridescent bead detail.
**Many people have commented that she reminds of them of the Rudolph claymation movie. Of course I didn't realize she looked like Rudolph until she was done It's definitely the head - the nose & eyes especially. It wasn't intentional anyway ^_^ My orginal intention in making the deer was to see if I could crochet one that looked like my own (I was inspired by a forum post on another site & all the confusion it created)**

This is adorable! I love the quilted look... remind's me of my gran's old blanket's that seem's to never make you warm enough (as they are holy by nature lol) but still made you feel warm inside knowing they were her's. I love this lil deer... it's amazing! Great job! And thank's for them memory!
