Alice - Alice in Wonderland amigurumi

One of a series of Gothic Lolita inspired storybook characters. I'm currently working on Alice in Wonderland characters - next up is the White Rabbit.

Her proportions turned out a little differently than I imagined, but overall I'm happy with the shaping. It's the first time I had ever attempted a 'realistic' human figure, so the face was a little hard to solve (I'm still not completely happy with it). Overall though I'm happy for starting my amigurumi again.

Info:

17.5" tall
Crocheted from acrylic yarn
Cotton hair strands (woven in)
Cotton shirting pinafore, cuffs, collar
Cotton lace, rayon ribbon
Removable headband & pinafore

For adoption

She looks wonderful! I think you did a brilliant job with the face - I never would have thought to sculpt the nose that way! Also, her skirt and panties are just so cute!

The hair is made of strands of cotton yarn so it can be straightened or curled. I wove each strand into her head in the same type of pattern as you would on a regular doll. So she has a row of hair in the front for bangs, and then several layers/rows for the rest of her head (they lay the same way on her head as they do on a person).
